Getting your vaccines helps you stay healthy as you get older. Which vaccines you need can change based on your age and and your health.

Key Vaccines by Age:

  • 65+ Years Old:

    • Flu vaccine (every year)

    • Pneumococcal vaccine (for lung infections)

    • Shingles vaccine (if you turned 65 on or after 1 September 2023)

  • 70-79 Years Old:

    • Shingles vaccine (if you haven’t had it)

  • 75-79 Years Old:

    • RSV vaccine (for a chest infection)

  • 75+ Years Old:

    • COVID-19 vaccine (usually in spring and winter)
