Walk-In and Urgent Treatment Centres in Liverpool – Get the Right Care, Fast

If you need medical help but it’s not life-threatening, you don’t always need to go to A&E.

Liverpool has several Walk-In Centers (WICs) and Urgent Treatment Centers (UTCs) where experienced NHS staff can help you quickly.

 

These centers can treat most minor injuries and illnesses, including:

  • Sprains, strains and minor fractures
  • Cuts, wounds and dressings
  • Ear, throat or eye infections
  • Skin rashes or allergic reactions
  • Minor burns and scalds
  • Urgent repeat prescriptions
